This division was established to develop human resources establishing international exchange and collaboration through participation in numerous national and international conferences and training programs. The activity targets are (1) promotion and support international exchange in education research related to radiation science among young faculty members and students, (2) promotion of exchange with educational and research institutions in Southeast Asia, Europe, and Oceania related to radiation exposure medicine, and (3) promotion of radiation disaster response training and establish a cooperative framework with the Korea Institute of Radiological and Medical Sciences(KIRAMS). In particular, the symposium on Radiation and Health (ESRAH) for young researchers led by graduate students and young faculty members and the Japan-Thailand Bilateral Seminar on Radiation Science are held every year, with the aim of establishing and developing international exchange and support systems in education research among young researchers and students. In addition, we continue to conduct joint training with KIRAMS for nuclear terrorism response and support graduate students’ participation in international academic conferences and expand and strengthen our global network. Through these activities, we hope to contribute to the strengthening of the international collaboration system in case of emergencies, as well as to expand the circle of international joint research and increase the number of co-authored papers with researchers from overseas institutions and foreign students from abroad.
